The warm weather is coming and it's time to think about summer fun at the barn!
Summer camp is super fun. Our campers have a full day of horsemanship, barn management and lessons each day. Of course, add a whole bunch of pony loving friends and you couldn't ask for a better experience. Each month follows a different theme.
-June is beginner and horsemanship week. Open to all riders looking to learn the basics or improve on the skills they already have. Every day includes a lesson as well as horsemanship related activities and projects.
July is Horse Show camp. Campers learn the ins and outs of show prep, competition and management, from both a competitors view and a show managers perspective. The week wraps up with a camp horse show.
August is gaming camp. Keyhole, Barrels, Poles, just FUN FUN FUN!!
Not really sure if your student is ready for a full blown riding program? Maybe the structure of lessons seems intimidating without some type of introduction first. We get it! Riding is a big deal and so much of the basics are overlooked. Why not introduce your student with our "Pony Pals" program? Six weeks, one day a week, two hours a day in a professional, safe, fun learning environment, getting a taste of the basics of horsemanship and stable management.
There's so much more to riding than just getting on! Let your student start on the ground and work his or her way up! We will learn about safely handling horses and ponies, grooming, basic barn management, basic nutrition and anatomy, horse careers, disciplines and more.
We also offer a daily horsemanship program on a monthly basis. This program is designed for the rider who is looking to further their riding career. Ask for details!
